Where To Visit - The Faeroe Islands

Hey travelers!

In the summer vacation (which is quite a while ago by now) I was visiting the Faeroe Islands. I have an amazing friend who lives there and I badly wanted to see her so me and some of my friends went on a trip to the Faeroe Islands. It was an amazing trip, I climbed a mountain, ate whale and flew in a helicopter! It was so much fun, and I want you to experience the same fun. So I have collected some of my favorite places that I think you should visit:

Internet café:

In the middle of Thorshavn there is this cute little internet café, they sell ice cream and cake and other drinks like coffee and milkshake. It's super cute (has great internet by the way) and there is also a lot of books and magazines you can read.


 Caspar:

 A small café in Thorshavn. I visited this café with my family and they made some great sandwiches and smoothies (it was like the third time my family visited it). It tastes really good and it was a seriously cozy and nice place for lunch

 Waffles:

 Not that far from the biggest mountain on the Faeroe Islands, there was this cute waffle place, that sold really good tasting waffles. But the best thing was this valley, it was seriously beautiful. The water in it was so clean and clear, I could see all the way to the button. It was very beautiful and inspiring.


 The seal woman:

 There is this tale about a seal woman, it's a quite inspiring story with a beautiful statue. The statue was placed on this small island, with very few houses but some great beautiful mountains. I took a lot of great photos on that island, and it's definitely a place worth visiting.

Before and after - body improvement

Jeg vil starte ud med at undskylde for min mindre tilstedeværelse, eksamner, en tæt pakket sommerferie og gymnasiestart har fyldt en stor del af min hverdag de sidste par måneder, derfor er jeg glad for at være tilbage.
Denne gang vil jeg vise jer en procces jeg selv har været meget stolt af. Jeg har på et halvt år tabt næsten otte kilo og det lyder måske ikke af meget, men det har haft stor betydning på min levevis og selværd. Jeg har derfor planer om at bruge det her blog opslag til at fortælle om denne procces.

I will start out with apologizing for how little I've been posting these past months, exams, a busy summer vacation and a high school start. This have all taken a lot of time in my everyday life, so I'm so happy to be back.
This time I will show you a process I've been very proud of. I have the past six months lost almost eight kilos, and it might not sound of much, but it have had a massive effect on my everyday life and confidence. That is why I have decided to dedicate this blogpost to this process.

 Træningen: 
For cirka et halvt år siden besluttede jeg mig for at nu var det nok, og jeg ville tabe mig. Det gik lidt langsomt i starten da det var svært at vende sig ud af vaner. Jeg begyndte dog med at træne eller løbe cirka to gange om ugen. Når det kommer til at danne nye vaner skal det ikke gå hurtigt, men ske langsomt så du vender dig til det.
 Jeg tror at det her stod på i ikke mere end en måned og så startede jeg en challenge. Jeg startede en squat-challenge og chrunches-challenge på samme tid. Det her var noget af det der gjorde den største forskel. Jeg startede ud med at lave 50 squats og en måned efter sluttede jeg af med 225. For chrunches startede jeg på 50 og sluttede af med 250. Det måned tog en af de største forandringer i mit vægttab.
 Efter dette begyndte jeg at træne 2-3 gange om ugen og sluttede af med 3-4 gange om ugen. Jeg træner stadig lige så meget for at holde hvad jeg har opnået ved lige.
 Der er sikkert mange eksperter som ikke ville anbefale de metoder jeg har brugt, men de virkede så det gør mig ikke noget.
Kosten:
 Da jeg efterhånden havde fået det ind i min rutine at jeg skulle træne og dyrke motion et par gange om ugen begyndte jeg at ligge mere vægt på min kost. Jeg har altid haft et par søde tænder og derfor var det svært at vende mig af med præcis dette. Jeg kom dog godt igennem det ved at finde sunde erstatninger for slik. Efterhånden som jeg begyndte at holde af disse erstatninger, skar jeg også ned på mængden af slik.
 Efterhånden begyndte jeg også at spise mere salat. Halvdelen af min tallerken begyndte at bestå af netop dette. En god anden del var kartofler, ris eller pasta, og en meget mindre del end sædvanligt, kød.
Lysten:
Jeg har aldrig været tyk eller buttet, men da jeg så, jeg var på vej, til at blive netop dette besluttede jeg mig for at tabe mig. Lysten kom helt af sig selv, da jeg ikke ønskede at blive større. Jeg begyndte dog efter et stykke tid at nyde at spise sundt og træne, og det blev en vane, det var nok noget af det der betød mest.

The workout:
About a half year ago I decided to lose weight since I didn't wish to get bigger. It went slowly in the beginning since it's hard to get out of bad habits. I started working out and running twice a week. When it comes to making new habits it shouldn't go too fast, but happen slowly so you get used to it.
I think this lasted for a month or so, and then I started a challenge. I began a squat-challenge and a chrunches-challenge. This made one of the biggest differences. I began with making 50 squats and ended with 225. For chrunches i began with 50 squats and ended with 250. It was two month challenges, and it made a big difference.
After this i began working out 2-3 times a week and then 3-4 times a week. I'm still doing this, and I just try to keep what I have recieved.
It's probaly not the way many experts would recommend, but it worked for me.
Food:
When I after some time have got it into my routine to workout a couple of times a week, I began to notice my eating. I've always had a sweet taste, so it was very difficult to eat less candy. I did quite good, and I found alot of healthy replacements. When I began to like these replacements, I cut of how much I ate.
 After some time I began to eat more salad. Half of my plate began to be exactly this. The bigger part of the other half was potatoes, rice or pasta, and a lesser part than normal was meat.
The wanting:
I've never been fat or chubby, but when I saw I was on my way to become this, I decided to lose weight. The want I found all natural, cause I didn't wish to get bigger. After some time I began to enjoy the healthy lifestyle, and it became a habit. That was probably the biggest part.
